When you sign up to use mod24 Dispatch app we will create a basic set of User Roles. These roles will be divided into departments and granted specific permissions according to the part of the business they would handle.
These default roles will be global and apply to your entire Cluster. Which means that if you have multiple Groups the same Role can be used for all of them.
In Mod24 Dispatch app we are providing a set of Departments to organize different segments of your business. Departments refer to the grouping of activities and responsibilities into smaller segments of your organization.
department is related to the those that coordinate, supervise or otherwise ensure entire process works properly.
department is related to your Sales representative that ensure you book the moves with your Customers.
department is related to those that handle the move once it is booked. Everything related to job assignment to Movers, ensuring appropriate Trucks will do the job is responsibility of this department.
department is related to your Customer service or those that handle any issues that might arise with the customer during or after the move. This department will handle complaint request and resolve disputes.
To create a new role follow the Add role button from list of all user roles in Mod24 Dispatch app.
Choose a name for the Role, add a department and choose a Group it belongs to.
Selecting a Group will let the system know that this particular role is applicable only for the users in that specific group.
Select permissions but clicking on the checkbox or permission name. You can use tabs to narrow down which permissions you will want to see. For example, select a tab labeled as "Leads", there you will only see permissions related to leads.
Once you're done with selecting permissions, click to save the role.
