Rates & Booking
Prices, availability and booking
Basic information
Rates tab on the Lead page will allow you to see hourly price for the move, as well as the number of available movers and trucks.
Five days will be shown on the grid with rates, middle one will be the date selected in Move date field.
To see the grid with hourly rates the following must be selected: Move date, Arrival window and Move size.
The system will show suggested number of movers for the selected Move size, e.g. for 2 Bedroom it's 3, 4 or 5 movers. Truck will be by default on 1.
Transaction fee and Cash discount information on the lead is collected from your Company settings at the time of lead creation.
Available movers and trucks
Beneath each date the user will be able to see number of trucks and movers, marked with their respective icons. Numbers here will help you understand how many moves you could book for a given date or suggest a different one.
Numbers here depend on multiple factors, e.g. if the movers are active and don't have a job assigned, if they are unavailable on a given date, if there are already moves booked, if the group is sharing availability, etc. For details and everything related to availability check our Availability page.
Offers
Offers are singles cells in the grid from your Edit Lead page. Offer is an hourly rate that can be suggested to the customer. Important info related to a single offer is:
Move date
Number of movers
Number of trucks
Price per hour
If the offer was saved
If the offer was sent to the customer
Along with this, as per selected Move date, we also know how many available trucks and movers we have, what are Minimum hours are and how much is the Deposit.
Saving offers
To save an offer on a Lead, the user can simply click on a cell where the price is shown. When the cell becomes orange color, the offer is saved.
All offers will remain on the Lead until offer duration expires.
Sending offers to Customer
With this option you can select one or more offers and send them directly to the customer.
After you've selected offers you wish to send to the customer click on the button at the bottom right side of the grid, it has a label "Send offer to customer".
When this button is clicked it will send an email with a link to the customer. It also allows them to enter their own credit card details and check the digital contract (if applicable for the Company).
Sent offers will have a small indicator as a pin icon at the top right corner of the cell.
Booking with Custom rate
Option is available if your Company settings for Custom rate have been set to "Yes", you can find details about it on Company Info page. And if your user has a permission to book with custom rate, otherwise this option is not available.
When you mouse over any of the available offers you will see "Book with custom rate" option, once clicked it allows you to enter a custom amount and book the move with it.
Booking with Offer
"Book" button will become available when you mouse over a Saved offer (for Company with Fixed rate set to "Yes") or over an Offer (for Company with Fixed rate set to "No").
Clicking on this button will book the move with all information contained in that cell: number of movers and trucks, price per hour, date, deposit, minimum hours.
Sending a Booking Link
This option is similar to Sending offers to Customer, however with the booking link the customers will go directly to the Mod24 website and be able to register. This will provide them with an option to track their move, as well as access their payments history and get other perks.
Booking link can be sent via SMS or Email.
Sending a Booking Link via SMS
Sending an SMS from the lead will be available if the company has a phone number to send messages to the customers. More info can be checked in Twilio integration.
You will be able to enter text for sending this type of SMS. By default we will only show the copy as on the image below (containing the booking link and company name).
Sending a Booking Link via Email
Sending an email with the link will contain a predefined set of information, as well as a button that cannot be edited. This will be sent as the closing part of the email regardless of the content user enters and/or uses from their own templates.
Users can choose to edit the subject and body of the email manually or through their templates, as shown on the example below:
