Trucks
Your company fleet
In Mod24 Dispatch app you can add your trucks and adjust their information so you could keep track how many of them are available for assignment.
Truck can belong to only one Carrier in the system. The same applies for movers. This is in place since we believe they will share a parking lot and/or an office as their starting point.
Create Trucks
To create a truck go to Trucks list inside Mod24 Dispatch app. Click on "Add truck" button and fill in the fields.
Licence number must be unique and related to that specific truck.
You can choose a Carrier from the list.
Size of the truck is for your internal purposes to be aware which truck should be assigned on smaller or larger moves.
Number of seats lets you know how many movers can go in that truck.
ZIP code is there to indicate the location of your parking lot. This help the system know how far the truck is from the pickup location.
Truck Status
There are few different statuses related to a truck, to help you approach their availability and keep track what needs to be done further.
Active - means that the truck is available and will be included into calculation for the number of available trucks when booking moves.
Inactive - means that the truck is not available and will not be included into calculation for the number of available trucks when booking moves.
Not verified - means that the truck hasn't yet been checked by higher personnel.
Broken - means that the truck is currently broken and unavailable.
Truck Calendar
The calendar works the same way it does for Movers. You will see Truck's past and future assignments. And you can choose to select that a truck is not available on specific dates.
