Pricing
Creating your rates
Pricing is set on your Company profile under "Pricing" tab. Here you can adjust basic and additional prices that should be included or calculated automatically.
Truck price
This price indicates how much you will charge for a single truck. This price is added on top of the price for certain number of movers to create an hourly rate. Or is added on top an hourly rate if additional truck is required.
Service fee
If you wish to automatically add a service fee on each job you book you can enter an amount in this field. Otherwise leave it blank.
Example:
Your company charges an additional $20 for each move as a service fee.
You set this option on your company.
Each booked job has automatic additional expense of $20 for a service fee.
Transaction fee
Transaction fee will be charged for all credit card transactions. If you wish to charge additional % when this type of transaction is made enter an amount in this field. Otherwise you can leave it blank.
Example:
Your company charges an additional 2% for each credit card transaction.
You charge the customer a deposit of $50.
The customer is charged for $51 ($50 + $1 transaction fee)
You don't need to charge an additional % for your credit card transactions. However it is useful to cover the expenses with your designate payment gateway or other provider. Since you are already charged a certain amount for transactions made online.
Pricing brackets
This part is the core of your pricing system. You can add brackets for number of movers and their rates.
Enter a number of movers, add a price for that number of movers and it automatically calculates the hourly rate.
There is no limit how many brackets you will add. If you do moves with 12 movers, you can add that here so it can be later selected on your moves.
Labor price
Is related to the price you charge when the movers work without a truck involved. This price can be calculated in two ways:
Using the calculation: Hourly rate - Truck price
Using the amount enter in: Labor price field
Mileage Calculation
We offer two options for additional charge according to the mileage: Only deadhead length and Entire job length.
Only deadhead length
Rate increase will calculate only the length when truck is running empty. We deduct the free mileage and multiply the remaining distance with the entered multiplier.
For example: you can enter that you don't charge the first 10 miles. And after that you add 0.5% on each mile traveled.
Entire job length
Rate increase will calculate the total miles for a move and multiply it with the percentage entered, giving you a dollar amount which is added on top of the price per hour.
Example:
Starting hourly rate is $120.
Total mileage for the job is 80 miles.
Your company doesn't add a multiplier for 0-40 miles.
Your company adds additional multiplier of 5% for 41-100 miles.
You will get a rate of $122 (round up from $121.95).
Increase hourly rate
Rate increase will calculate the total miles for a move (from company address to pickup to delivery and back to company address).
Multiplier you enter will create a percentage from the total miles, and this percentage is then used to increase an hourly rate. If free mileage was entered on company settings, it will be deducted from the calculation.
Example:
Starting hourly rate is $120.
Total mileage for the move is 80 miles.
Your company doesn't have free miles.
Your company has a multiplier of 5%.
We calculate mileage increase first, in this case: 80*5/100 and we get 4%
We increase our hourly rate of $120 by 4%
Our new hourly rate for this move is $124.8 and we round it up on $125
