Claim Status

Info about different claim statuses

There are 3 Claim statuses:

  • New

  • Active

  • Closed

  • Reopened

New status indicates that a Claim was created. Customer wasn't contacted yet.

Active status indicates that a Claims agent is actively working on it.

Closed status indicates that an agreement between Customer and Company has been reached.

Reopened status indicates that a Claim was put into Closed, but Reopened due to various reasons to be reassessed.
